I've been working as refrigeration components wholesaler from 1983 to 1996: then I've decided to leave the initial activity business to the rest of my family and I've founded Blowtex.
In 13 years I've had the opportunity to work with companies like Frascold, Luve, Carlo Eisner, Sporlan, Egelhoff, Danfoss, Refco, Papst, Ziehl, Kenmore, Parker and many others. I have had a very large experience in sizing coils evaporators, compressors, condenser and other hvac components employed in cold and clean rooms and/or whatever else hvac indoor environment, by using various calculation software.
The idea was to nobilitate an air ventilation system too much often treated purposely as junk, and bringing it everywhere by mean the use of aesthetics, software and skilled Co2 lasing techniques. So since from the birth we were ready with laser, software in internet, (around 1998 also internet was just born) and good mounting systems (Blowtex Tensorex tensile structures). "Partner in Crime" has been at that time, the worldwide emerging information technology.
We are talking now about 36 years in selling refrigeration and air conditioning components.
I think to have been heavy lucky, in that I had the possibility to express innovation and creativity in a often sad grey business made of compressors, coils, cold, and umidity; bringing colours happiness shape and fantasy practically everywhere.
From the theatre to the school to the kitchen and so on. Today we are looking for new challenges. Past experience inside cold rooms comes useful today in heating and cooling large buildings by mean of heat pumps or water chillers, water heater coupled with "on demand" tailor made ventilation solutions. Rationalize the energy savings starts from sizing correctly air handling units surface, fan pressure drops, and planning carefully their placement both in horizontal either vertical layout.
Large axial fans units till up 20,000 m3/h each have been suspended half height, to cool or to heat very large and tall industrial premises doubling the potential market for Blowtex Textile air Diffusers. New targets are new opportunities not only for us but also for skilled customers producing water chillers, heat pumps, refrigerant compressing units.
